Osh took the time to explain the best way to approach our home repairs, and also provided wonderful ideas to improve our home we hadn't thought of, including very creative ideas about landscaping. He let us dream big, but also helped us understand what that would look like and cost in the long run, and helped us determine the best place to start. He didn't rush us, and answered all our questions. Osh will not do things by half, he is interested in doing the work the right way the first time. He invited us to see his home and the work he is personally doing. His work is exceptional. His crew was polite and very hard working. We finally decided on starting with the new water heater that required moving the exhaust from the chimney, to a new hole in the side of the wall in the basement (that had to be created). It was a big project, which came with a few surprises. Osh took them in stride and came up with the best and most cost effective solutions. Osh is a vet and a man of many life experiences. It was easy for us to place our trust in him. He was communicative, on time, hard working and did an excellent job on the project. You can tell the work is superior to most. This job did cost a fair amount of money (for new home owners!), but for the product and the work, it was well worth it. We absolutely got our money's worth. We engaged Osh in an aspirational restoration and model of a century home that required a complete gut. The scope was beyond his normal projects, but we knew that he would do the work right and not cut corners. Every time a vendor, subcontractor, or city inspector was on-site, they commented on the quality of workmanship. We challenged Osh with numerous non-standard requests such as tilt/turn windows and doors, stainless steel counters and high efficiency building systems and he made everything happen. Osh will never be the cheapest option, but when you work with him, there is no worry about whether something was done right.
